Parque Natural de Lucainena
Lucainena is a place to rest. Time moves on slowly in the village of the seven towers, built by the Moorishes in the fifteenth century, the eighteenth century parish church and the centenary tree of the square of the town hall. The entire village and the old windmill are discerned from the viewpoint of ‘El Pollo de la Cruz’. With almost seven hundred inhabitants, Lucainena de las Torres is located at 53 km. from Almería. It is a perfect place to be surrounded by the calmness of nature without going away from big cities.
